Based on director Florian Zeller's stage play "Le Fils," "The Son" follows the life and relationships of Peter, a man with a son from his previous marriage and a strained relationship with his own father. When 17-year-old Nicholas moves in with him, his partner Beth and their new baby, Peter is drawn to the idea of caring for his teenage son the way he wished he had been cared for as a child. However, old patterns begin to surface when the balancing act of his family and his dream job proves to be harder than expected. "The Son" is not yet rated.
