Alexi Lalas pays tribute to outlaws, otherwise known as soccer supporters; a rough and tumble breed of sports fan. Unlike other common breeds, supporters aren't fair-weather fans, and in fact, seem to thrive in all kinds of weather (depicted by wearing scarves, in any climate, while singing, and chanting, and literally, marching to the beat of their own drum).
