Jeff Immelt, Chairman and CEO of GE, explains that that brain has always been a difficult thing to study. When it comes to diagnosing concussions, GE has collaborated up with the NFL to make progress in technology and science. But the study of concussions in the NFL and the technological advancements made have been applied to other fields of medicine. And although diagnosing and treating concussions have become better, the ultimate goal would be to prevent concussions from happening altogether.
