The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services lets viewers know that people born between 1945-1965 are five times more likely to have Hepatitis C. Active people bicycling, hiking in the woods and cooking highlight the follow-up fact that many people are unknowingly living with Hepatitis. Over time, the serious liver disease can cause many problems even though people can live healthily for decades and see no issues. For that reason, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urge anyone born during that time span get a blood test to make sure they do not have Hepatitis C.
