"The Team That Wouldn't Be Here" is a 12-part documentary series by Peter Berg that pays tribute to the first responders who rescued various NFL players, as well as Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn, from life-threatening injuries. As the athletes and their loved ones express their gratitude to the medics who helped them overcome broken limbs, blunt-force trauma and emotional shock, Verizon stresses the importance of reliable communication in confronting these kinds of life-or-death scenarios. In this Super Bowl LIII spot, the company asserts the following: "First responders answer the call. Our job is to make sure they can get it."
