Comcast is celebrating 10 years of Internet Essentials and 5 million students connected by sharing customer Ashis' story. Ashis used Internet Essentials to start a small non-profit foundation to collect clothing for the homeless community. In the near future, he hopes to expand his organization to help hundreds of thousands of people around the globe. Comcast says that it's committing $1 billion over the next 10 years to reach 50 million low-income Americans with the tools they need to be prepared for whatever comes their way.
