British-American historical drama "The Last Duel" stars Jodie Comer as Marguerite de Carrouges, the woman at the center of the last legally sanctioned duel in French history. Born, raised and married in 14th century France, Mauguerite watches her fate spiral out of control once her assault accusation against her husband's friend is made public -- and publicly questioned. Sir Jacques Le Gris, a favorite at the court of the local nobility, vehemently denies committing such an attack, prompting Sir Jean de Carrouges to demand a duel to the death for his wife's honor and his own pride. "The Last Duel" is in theaters on October 15, 2021.
