A father follows his daughter, who is serving as a military doctor, into a building as he asks her if she's sure this is want she wants. He says that he loves her passion for helping but thinks that she could do it in other ways. The daughter says that with everything going on in the world, this is one of the ways she can help. When she turns to ask him what he thinks, the scene cuts to them talking about the decision in a car.
