Final Portrait TV Movie Trailer

When the renowned artist Alberto Giacometti runs into American critic James Lord in Paris circa 1964, he asks his literary friend to sit for a portrait, to which Lord readily consents. Though the project was pitched to last only one day, Lord becomes disenchanted after several weeks pass and Giacometti appears no closer to completion. Eventually, both men are forced to come to terms with tumultuous truths about the artistic process, all of which culminate in one of the final masterworks of a great painter. Based on the true story, "Final Portrait," directed by Stanley Tucci, hits theaters Mar 23, 2018 and is rated R.
