As part of the BET Goes Pink campaign, survivor Barbara Battle raises awareness of breast cancer by explaining that a woman is diagnosed with the disease every two minutes. As she and her daughter Stephanie don "Check More, Fear Less" tees, they tell the story of Barbara's 2016 diagnosis and refer to her scars as "a badge of courage." The mother and daughter encourage people to get mammograms every year, even if no symptoms manifest.
