Will Shortz is the crossword editor for The New York Times, but it took a lot of time and effort to get to where he is today. He attended Indiana University where he took advantage of the individualized major program to create his own major: "Enigmatology: The Study of Puzzles." From there, he joined a frat, studied hard and even played competitive table tennis in his free time. All the while, his crossword puzzles grew bigger and more complex. Now an alum, he claims he wouldn't be where he is without Indiana University.
