Some might say that "corporate-types" have gotten a little too comfortable calling each other "rock stars" -- specifically, actual rock stars, who aren't convinced that people know what it takes to be one. After KISS' Paul Stanley gets the ball rolling in Workday's Super Bowl LVII ad, Billy Idol, Joan Jett, and Ozzy Osborne weigh in with their qualifying experiences. "I've trashed hotel rooms in 43 countries!" "I was on the road since I was 16." "I've done my share of bad things...also YOUR share of bad things." They insist that just because using Workday productivity software for finance and HR can help you be great at your job, that doesn't mean you ascend to rock star status. After all, can Liz from HR hit a guitar lick like Gary Clark Jr.? Maybe everyone should stay in their lane, including Ozzy -- who just looks odd in business casual duds.
