traditional media is adjusting to digital realities.
Social Media focused,
#OneDayatDuke follows the many tropes of university advertising - campus shots,
day-in-the-life montages of student experiences, faculty, etc. - but overlays
student testimonials sent via twitter.
It highlights the direction TV
creative is moving toward, spots that engage for a time beyond the TV screen.
TV still works as a place to engage eyeballs, but the social media focus of
this ad is an indicator of how brands are using TV for this new generation of
students.
One opportunity worth considering:
