Samuel Adams founder, Jim Koch joins German brewer, Marius Hartmann to learn about the history of time-savored lagers. They are led into an underground cellar lined with wooden kegs that were once used to brew beer over 600 years ago. Declaring it one of the original "man cave's," Jim and Marius discuss how taking your time when creating a lager will always create a better taste. To prove that point, Samuel Adams announces that it even though it doesn't operate in caves, it does brew its lagers for over a month before bottling.
