Wieden+Kennedy’s Asian American affinity group, Call It Covid, revives a visceral, resonant and, sadly, still-relevant spoken word piece about the rise in anti-Asian violence in the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally released in May 2020, the rhythmic passage makes the case that words have power that can spiral into real-world harm, and that there can be meaning in what's left unsaid.
