A little girl climbs up the bleachers to make an announcement. She says that, at nine years old, she's ready to retire from the stress and pressure of playing soccer. The game that started out as fun when she was five is no longer the game she fell in love with. The constant remarks from parents and coaches had worn her down and her only option seems to be to retire. The Aspen Institute says that 69 percent of girls have given up on youth sports and that means we are doing something wrong as a society.
