Tide TV Spot, 'Cold Callers: Gordon Ramsay' Featuring Ice-T, Steve Austin, Matt Ryan

While making "cold calls" to promote Tide's cold water laundry detergents, Rapper Ice-T, pro wrestler "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt "Matty Ice" Ryan reach out to famously grouchy chef Gordan Ramsay during a busy moment in the kitchen. Matty Ice makes the first pitch: "NFL Teams are turning to cold with Tide, will you?" Ramsay's curt response, "That will never work!" may have been directed at a disappointing dish in front of him, but Matty takes it personally. "If It works on NFL jerseys, it'll work for you." The double conversation continues as Ice-T makes the point that by switching from hot to cold laundry, Ramsay could save up to $150 a year. Glad the call is finally over when Ramsay gives in and gruffly pledges to "turn to cold," Steve Austin says that the chef needs to "chill out."
