Coca-Cola 2008 Super Bowl Commercial, Coke & Politics
This Coca-Cola commercial aired during Super Bowl XLII on Feb. 3, 2008 when the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots. Republican Bill Frist and Democrat James Carville argue during a political debate and then happen to both say the same word at the same time. Frist claims the “jinx” rule and demands that Carville owes him a Coke right now. The pair then decides to explore Washington, D.C. for the day, enjoying an art museum and basketball game before settling in front of the Washington Monument at sunset.
